As Corporate Operating Manager Finance at Toshiba TEC Europe, I hereby confirm that we have called upon the services of Mrs. Véronique Polet since 2008 for various missions within our organisation in Brussels, as well as in our offices in France, Holland and England.

Her competence, the attention to detail she brings to organising and managing work, the speed at which she works, her co-ordination, her communication skills and her exceptional ability to listen have enabled us to bring the various projects she undertook to a successful conclusion.

I must also mention that, thanks to the range of her skills, we have benefited from her know-how in various fields. We have thus gained precious time while keeping outsourcing costs down; i.e. finance, human resources, marketing.

Since the list of tasks is so long, here is a brief summary of what was achieved:

- recruitment of heads of finance in France, Belgium, Holland and England, of heads of human resources in Belgium, heads of IT, etc;
- creation of a Europe-wide organisation chart and all job descriptions;
- setting up J-SOX procedures in France;
- setting up a training plan (Europe);
- setting up procedures for the human resources department in Belgium;
- analysis of the commissioning system;
- customer follow-up (operating procedures and co-ordination with management): Credit Control/Cash Collection in France, England, Belgium and Holland;
- marketing strategy;
- re-organisation of “administration” department in France and Holland;
- communication and co-ordination between “front office” and “back office” in France and Holland;
- etc.

I state that we particularly appreciated Véronique Polet’s energy, readiness to work and her range of skills. We will certainly call upon her services in the future should the need arise.

On a personal level, I found Véronique Polet exceptionally easy to work with, a good listener, who integrated herself perfectly into the Japanese management team, which enabled us to shed light on certain problem areas and, more importantly, to resolve them.
